special D&D Adventurers League Guest: Robert Adducci
Author/Admin Only Adventure
These are adventures written by one of the six D&D Adventurers League Admins or Wizards of the Coast D&D staff member, and can only be run by the person that wrote them. They are very special and unique experiences. They are not specifically tied to a season’s theme and are more “evergreen.” The level spread, treasure, xp, plot, etc., are all up to that author. They are generally four hours in length.
What is a Regional preview? In the weeks between when an adventure premieres at a convention and is released to the public on the DMsGuild, some multi-day conventions can be awarded a regional preview. Typically only one convention will be selected in each region. Quest-Con has been found worthy.
Each new D&D Adventurers League PDF module premieres in at least 1 multi-day convention around the world. These premiere conventions are given complimentary copies of the module to give to their DMs and are provided convention support directly by Wizards of the Coast. In other words, this will be the first time that this particular module has every been played anywhere.
D&D Epics are special multi-table events that allow players to participate in exciting, EPIC adventures! These adventures consist of twelve tables playing the same adventure simultaneously, where the actions of each group affects the over all campaign.
Fai Chen's Fantastical Faire is the d&d adventurers league trading post. it is a special, optional event that can occur at all conventions hosting D&D Adventurers League adventures.
At the Faire, players may trade permanent magic item certificates and may purchase consumable item certificates. Fai Chen’s inventory changes over time, and there is only so much that can fit in his cart and that his mule can pull. Therefore, the items available at the Faire change over time and are only available in limited quantities.
