When Summer first discovered cosplay, she was halfway through college and on a rather tight budget. She subsequently started repurposing clothing to make costumes and props as cost-efficient as possible. After two years of altering pre-existing clothing, Summer decided to take a leap and learned how to sew; now she designs and makes every costume she wears entirely by hand.
Her determination and dedication to the craft has earned her awards through competing, though she is more focused on giving back to the cosplay community whenever possible by hosting panels at conventions to share what she's learned.
Summer also part of the LGBTQ community, is a strong supporter of "Cosplay is NOT Consent," and is focused on growing as an artist through this hobby.
